The First Report Card

Mary started day care this week! She went for a few hours on Monday and Tuesday while mommy was still on maternity leave, and then for a longer day on Wednesday when mommy actually had to go back to work. Mary did well - she was all eyes, looking at all of the exciting colors and her new friends. Meanwhile, mommy was all tears!

Ready, Set, Grow Day Care provides a daily report on each infant's activities. According to Mary's first report card, she took 2 bottles, had 4 diaper changes, and took 3 short naps. It also said, "Mary was introduced to her day care friends. She had some floor time and she enjoyed the swing."

On Day 2, "Mary enjoyed floor time. We practiced reaching for rattles, and she enjoyed looking at bubbles."

On Day 3, "Mary did some exercises today. She is so pleasant, cute, and cuddly. She did a lot of talking today also."

I hope that tomorrow they will be teaching her how to help me with laundry.
